ANXIOUS OBJECTS

Can our objects empathize with us?

As kids, we have many comfort objects and safety blankets in the form of physical objects that ward off our fears and anxieties. As we grow older, our anxieties grow with us but our objects do not. While 18% of the adult population suffers from a diagnosed anxiety related condition, everyone has some level of anxiety, stress, worries, and doubts. This project explores the daily dilemma of stress and being worried and how to create environments and objects more conducive to helping us release that stress.
